Privacy Policy
Your folders stay yours.
EZFolderPin keeps folder bookmarks and preferences on your Mac. This policy explains local access, Apple purchase services, this website, and information you choose to send for support.

EZFolderPin stores bookmark display names, marks, colors, folder paths, security-scoped bookmark data, folder and volume identifiers, ordering, and rail placement or preferred display locally. It also stores preferences such as language and Dock visibility, first-launch progress, and local purchase or pending-transaction state.
These records let the app resolve the folders you selected, show their availability, remember your arrangement, and restore your app state. The app does not upload them to a developer-operated server.
Folder access and Finder
The app requests access through the macOS folder picker or a folder you drag from Finder and uses read-only, security-scoped access to the selected folders. It checks the chosen folder’s identity and availability and opens it in Finder when you click its bookmark.
Editing a bookmark’s name or color changes only that bookmark. Removing it does not delete or modify the folder or its files. EZFolderPin does not provide file-content previews or file sharing.
Analytics and diagnostics
EZFolderPin has no advertising, tracking, usage analytics, developer-operated cloud synchronization, or app account. It does not automatically send folder paths, file contents, purchase history, or diagnostic reports to the developer.
macOS may retain local operational logs, including app errors and control events. These logs are not automatically uploaded by EZFolderPin. You decide whether to include diagnostic information when contacting support.
Apple purchases and macOS services
The seven-day trial, lifetime unlock, and Restore Purchases use Apple StoreKit. Apple processes these transactions under its own terms and privacy policy. EZFolderPin verifies transaction information to determine access; folder names, paths, and file contents are not included in the app’s purchase requests.
Trial activation requires your confirmation and does not automatically renew or charge you. Apple purchase records support restoration and trial eligibility across reinstalls.
Finder and macOS login-item management provide the system features you invoke. Support and Privacy Policy links open this website in your default browser.
Removing local data
Removing a bookmark removes its saved reference from the active library. The current app session can temporarily retain a removed bookmark for Undo. The actual folder remains untouched.
Uninstalling the app alone may leave its local data behind. To remove all local records, quit the app and remove its app container and preferences using macOS file management. This does not erase Apple purchase history or restart an already used trial.
This website and support email
This website has no advertising, analytics, accounts, or tracking cookies. The hosting provider may process request information, such as IP address and browser or request details, to deliver and protect the website.
If you email support, we receive the address, message, and attachments you choose to send and use them to respond to your request. Hide private folder names and paths in screenshots; do not send folder contents or payment details. Contact support if you want your support correspondence deleted.
